Refinancing Master

i have a car loan for 72 months,I have paid 1 full year so far. Would it be a good idea to refinance at some point?

We have only had our mortgage for 3 years now.

an will i qualify
i bought my home on november of 08 in california.
or are they only helping people that have trouble paying their mortgage.

I have a chance to pay my daughters student loan off with money from a refinance we made a couple years ago. Is there any tax benefit to leave it as a student loan or any benefit at all leaving it as a student loan?

I have no idea how refinancing works. I want to refinance my car loan hoping to make my monthly payments smaller. It’s over 1/2 paid off now. Will it hurt me if my credit is worse? How does that work. I am current on my payments.

The loan is a 30 year fixed loan and I am taking it out to pay off credit card debt, other bills and a small amount will go towards fixing up my home. I could sell the condo in 12 months for almost 3x that of the loan amount. Right now I owe 1/6 of the market value.

I have a high credit score (760), and was approved for my bank’s best rate. The refinancing process is taking awhile, and I would like to get a better rewards card than what I have. Would it be a bad idea to apply for a new credit card before the refinancing closes?
