for example. i want to refinance my mortgage. of course i want the best rate possible. since the fed cut the rates again today how long should i wait before i can go and apply for a refinance??? my husband is trying to tell me it takes about 2 weeks. but that seems like a long time to me. i would think maybe 2 days. does any one know this????

a default judgement was ordered by the court and request for wage garnishment also. can they put aa lien on my bank accounts to collect towards a credit card debt? Anyone help me with this question.

no closing cost in refinancing

Recently the bank that my mortgage loan is through went bankrupt. My mortgage loan was transferred to Bank of America. Initially, i had a 30 year fixed mortgage rate and now B.O.A is saying that my payments are almost 500$ more than they initially were. Is this illegal for the bank to do this?

Following recent news, I discovered that the Bank of England lends money only as the “lender of last resort”. If the BOE does not reguarly lend money to banks (i.e. my mortgage is not underwritten by BOE loans) why does BOE base rate have a direct effect on my mortgage?

I have had sooooo… many issues with Wells Fargo bank. Just want to give everyone a place to vent about them. Tell me your good or bad stories with them.

As for me, they have lost my deposits on several occasions, screwed up my escrow account twice and that is just to name a couple things. I can not tell you how much money they have cost me. I have cancelled all of our accounts with them except my mortgage and my student loans but I am looking to refinance them elsewhere.. sometimes it is just the principal of the matter.
